Description
Rimadyl Injectable is a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in dogs to manage pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis or following surgery. It contains carprofen, which provides fast and targeted relief when given by a veterinarian.

Dosage

Warnings and Precautions
- Not for use in cats or other animals
- Do not use in dogs with bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers, or serious liver, kidney, or heart problems
- Not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation
- Should not be used with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids
- Inform your vet of any medications or conditions before treatment
How to Use
- Administered only by a veterinarian
- Given by IV or SC injection once daily as prescribed
- May be used with oral Rimadyl after surgery
- Monitor your dog for any unusual symptoms during treatment

- Store at 15–30°C (59–86°F)
- Do not freeze
- Keep vial sealed and away from light
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
Side Effects
- Common effects include mild swelling at the injection site, vomiting, diarrhea, or decreased appetite
- More serious effects may include bloody stools, yellowing of gums or eyes, behavior changes, or signs of an allergic reaction
- Contact your vet immediately if any serious side effects occur
